ORDER OF THE MINISTER OF FOOD, AGRICULTURE AND LIGHT INDUSTRY
On Approval of Procedure/Issuance of License for Importing Veterinary Medicine and Medical Equipment/

Article 1, paragraph 2 of the State Policy on Drugs, Article 15, paragraph 2 of the Law on Medicines and Medical Devices, and Article 4, paragraph 2.4 of the Law on Protection of Livestock Genetic Resources and
Health, approved by the State Great Hural Resolution No. 68 of 2002. Based on the ORDER:
1. To approve the "Procedure for issuing licenses for import of veterinary drugs and medical devices" in Annex I and the model license in Annex II.
2. To instruct P. Gankhuyag, Head of the Animal Husbandry Policy Implementation Coordination Department, to monitor the implementation of the regulation.
3. To instruct the Veterinary and Breeding Agency (P.Damdindorj) to take relevant measures to ensure continuous, accessible and even supply of veterinary drugs and medical devices that meet the quality and safety requirements and are registered in the state drug registry, and to promote rational use of drugs.
4. "Procedure for issuing licenses for import of medicines and medical devices for veterinary purposes" shall be followed from January 1, 2011.
